progress2Work started on the nursery just three weeks ago and already the building has been through some major changes.

With a deadline of the end of September, Meadsway builders have made a racing start to creating our fantastic farm-based nursery and are 'on-schedule' according to architect Alex Bond.

With years of experience in designing schools and nursery settings, Alex Bond is certain the nursery will provide a great location for children to learn and grow, and is confident that the project will be completed on time.

Local residents have already witnessed the biggest change, with the old roof being removed an the new trusses being put in place.

Of course there is still some distance to go, most of which will be inside to create the light and airy free-flow play areas, baby room, office and fully equipped kitchen, not forgetting the new 'green' extension to the front of the building with its sedum roof!

One of the last phases of the build will be to erect a canopy the length of the building to the rear, providing undercover play space - reinforcing the idea that outdoor play is best, whatever the weather!
