As of June 2019, all children registering at Grassroots must book
a minimum of 3 sessions (15 hrs) per week to ensure we
provide a familar environment and routine for your child.

15 & 30 hours funding per week to eligible families*

*Children aged 9 months plus may be eligible for 15 Universal funded hours per week (the term after they turn 9 months) until they are 3 years old. 
Families with earnings less than £100,000 (per parent) per year may be eligible for 30 hours per week extended funding for their child the term after they are 3 years old.

The Governmnet are due to increase funding to 30 hours per week as of September 2025 for all eligible families of children aged 9 months plus... the term after they turn 9 months.

Grassroots will continue to offer the Government funding schemes and support parents receive the funding they are entitled to.

We DO NOT limit spaces for funded children and offer both the Universal and Extended offers on a stretched basis (over 50 weeks of the year instead of 38 weeks term time).

Please ask the nursery manager how funding will reduce your monthly fees.

Grassroots DO NOT charge for bank holidays and closure days over the Christmas period (unlike many nurseries).

Children will be expected to partake in meals/snacks freshly prepared on site by our cook. We do not allow packed lunches or food to be brought into nursery to protect those with severe allergies or intolerances.
